The origin of Todos Santos.
Originally founded by a religious mission in 1720, Todos Santos was first named Santa Rosa de las Palmas de Todos Santos. It was settled in an area where the Guaycuras, the indigenous natives of the Peninsula greeted them and showed them the magical and unique area.
Later in time, by 1842 Todos Santos growth exponentially as a Sugar Cane town. Eventually many artists and cultural related individuals started to came to the little town to settle. Creating a cultural environment which led to a very interesting mixture of culture, art and culinary stop during your visit to the Peninsula nowadays.
